Getting started with Convertere
Convert a file in your browser, understand credits, manage your account, and find the API and AI assistant docs.
Convertere converts images, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, audio and video. You can use it in the browser, through the public API, or from an AI assistant.
Convert a file
- Go to the home page and drop a file in, or choose one from your computer.
- Pick the format you want to convert to.
- Choose any options you need, such as quality, width, height or page range.
- Select Convert, then wait for the job to finish.
- Download the result from the list of your recent conversions.
Results stay available to download for 24 hours after the conversion finishes. Download them before they expire.
Credits
Conversions use credits. One credit covers one conversion-minute, so a longer file or a heavier conversion uses more credits.
- You get free daily credits, with a larger allowance when you are signed in.
- Free daily credits reset each day and do not carry over.
- To convert more, buy credits. See pricing for current plans and packs.
Your account
Sign in to see your recent conversions, your credit balance and your organization's settings.
Developers and AI assistants
- Public API: convert files from your own code. See Public API.
- AI assistants: connect Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code to convertere so the assistant can convert files for you. See Connect an AI assistant (MCP).
